FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX Unveils National Anthem and Pre-Race Show for The Final Lap

The FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX today announced the details of the Dutch national anthem and the pre-race show for The Final Lap. During the very last edition of the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, music, emotion, and spectacle will come together to create an impressive farewell to an event that has entertained millions of fans at home and abroad in recent years.

Davina Michelle to Perform the Wilhelmus

Davina Michelle will once again perform the Wilhelmus this year. Since she also sang the Wilhelmus at the inaugural edition in 2021, the organizers hope this will bring things full circle.
Davina Michelle: “I’ll never forget singing the ‘Wilhelmus’ in 2021. Stages like this rarely come along in your career. That I get to do this a second time, five years later at the final edition, is truly fantastic. I can’t wait to be back on the grid.”

Return of the Pre-Race Show

Just before the race starts, the starting grid once again transforms into the stage for a unique pre-race show. Building on the iconic moments from previous editions, the entertainment culminates in a finale that builds toward the final seconds before the lights go out. Floor Jansen, La Fuente, Emma Heesters, and Yves Berendse, accompanied by the Royal Netherlands Air Force Orchestra, will once again create a festive atmosphere on the starting grid, in a way that’s unique to the Netherlands.

The pre-race show is entirely dedicated to “The Final Lap”: a tribute to five extraordinary years in which the Dutch Grand Prix has grown into an event celebrated worldwide for its atmosphere, creativity, and unique fan experience.

Floor Jansen: “My performance during the ‘Wilhelmus’ in 2022 was a truly special moment. Being able to return now for the final edition in Zandvoort makes it even more special. I’m really looking forward to experiencing that energy together one last time.”

La Fuente: “The pre-race show in 2023 was so iconic. It’s amazing to be able to rev up from the grid for the final edition as well. Just thinking about all those little flags gives me goosebumps already.”

Emma Heesters: “Of course, I’m totally crazy about F1. I’m proud to be part of the pre-race show.”

Yves Berendse: “As a true Zandvoort local, you want to be there. Last year I was part of the pre-race show. Of course, you want to do that every year.”
