FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX set for its fifth edition

Max Verstappen: “Let’s make the most of the final editions”

The FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX is about to begin. Tomorrow, on Super Friday, the drivers will take their first practice laps in front of packed grandstands. Yet already on Thursday, more than 15,000 guests and visitors gathered at Circuit Zandvoort.

Over the past few years, the Thursday preceding Super Friday has grown into a popular day for business meetings and events hosted by the Dutch Grand Prix’s Event Supporters and Event Suppliers. No fewer than fourteen events, ranging from small gatherings to large-scale activations, created a festive atmosphere and drew more than 15,000 visitors and invitees to the circuit—where Max Verstappen was also spotted.

Max Verstappen
The four-time World Champion and three-time Dutch GP winner emphasized at a press conference how much he values a home Grand Prix:

“I’m proud of that. Every time I leave the pit lane and see that sea of orange in the grandstands, I can’t help but smile,” said the Red Bull Racing frontrunner, who has once again tuned his outfit to match the Dutch party vibe for the coming three days.

“Let’s make the most of these final editions. Even if the Grand Prix is no longer held here in the future, I’ll definitely return to Zandvoort. It’s simply a great circuit to drive, even with other cars.”

Entertainment
In addition to the Formula 1® free practice sessions and other race categories (F1 Academy and Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup), Super Friday also features a full entertainment program. The official Opening Show kicks off with DJ Paul Elstak and live Q&A sessions with Formula 1 drivers on the Fanzone stage. Later in the day, Samuel Welten, Mart Hoogkamer, Gerard Joling, and top band Kensington will perform, with the evening closing out in style with a 90s Closing Party.
