The organisation of the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX has announced that the 2026 race weekend is completely sold out. Both Saturday and Sunday are at full capacity for the ‘Final Lap’ at the iconic Circuit Zandvoort. Tickets for Super Friday are still available. The full program for this day will be announced at a later stage.
A fitting finale to a remarkable era
From August 21 to 23, 2026, Zandvoort will host the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix for the final time. This Final Lap marks the end of an era that began with the return of Formula 1 to the Netherlands in 2021.
Since then, the Dutch Grand Prix has grown into one of the most distinctive events on the F1® calendar, with packed grandstands in the dunes and a unique blend of sport and entertainment. This success was fueled in part by the exceptional performances of Max Verstappen, who brought a new generation of Dutch fans to the sport. What remains is one final weekend. One last chance to experience Formula 1 live in the Netherlands—a moment everyone understands: after this, it’s over.
A proven success story
In recent years, the Dutch Grand Prix has evolved into an event of international stature. Every edition has been sold out, with sustained demand from both fans and the business community. “What we have built here can truly be called a success story,” says Robert van Overdijk. “The level of interest from the Dutch corporate market has been exceptional.” At the same time, the event’s international appeal has grown steadily. The share of international visitors has increased year after year, firmly repositioning Zandvoort on the global stage. “Zandvoort has once again become a destination that is recognized and appreciated worldwide,” Van Overdijk adds. Looking ahead, the position of Zandvoort within international motorsport is secured for the years to come. “That gives confidence for the future,” he says. “But first, for our Final Lap, we’re going all in one more time.”

Super Friday
Super Friday offers fans a final opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the Dutch Grand Prix up close. Featuring free practice sessions from various racing classes, F1® Sprint Qualifying, and extensive entertainment on and around the circuit, the day forms an essential part of the race weekend—accessible, vibrant, and unmistakably Zandvoort. The full program will be announced at a later stage.
Strong demand from the business community
Interest from the business community is also exceptionally high. Dutch companies are eager to be present at this final edition. Hospitality packages have sold rapidly, with only a very limited number still available.
The expectation is that these last packages will be allocated within weeks. This makes the Final Lap not only a sporting highlight, but also a key business moment—one you simply cannot afford to miss.
First and only F1® Sprint at Zandvoort
During this final race weekend, Zandvoort will host its very first F1® Sprint—making it both the first and the last Sprint at the circuit. This includes Sprint Qualifying on Friday, followed by the Sprint race and the regular qualifying session on Saturday.
Sporting Director Jan Lammers looks ahead to this special edition:
“For me, Zandvoort has never been just another circuit. It’s where I learned to race, and where in 2021 we brought back something many thought was no longer possible. The fact that we are now organizing the Final Lap in a year when Formula 1 enters a new technical era makes it even more special. Zandvoort has always been an honest benchmark for drivers and cars. To be able to close this chapter here feels like a fitting finale to a remarkable period in Dutch motorsport history.”
Martin Garrix closes the Final Lap
After the race on Sunday, the Final Lap will be brought to a close with a performance by Martin Garrix in the Fanzone. The globally acclaimed DJ will deliver the closing act of the weekend. With that, two Dutch icons take center stage during this final edition: Verstappen on track and Garrix on stage.
